Saints TV exists to provide high-quality coverage of St. Ansgar Saints athletics and activities — and to give families, alumni and Saints fans the chance to follow their teams from anywhere.
Our mission
Celebrate our students
Saints TV was started by Eric Sparrow with a simple goal: give St. Ansgar athletes, families and fans a great way to follow the Saints. Not every family can be in the stands for every game — grandparents two states away, a parent working nights, an alum who moved but never stopped caring how the Saints are doing.
So we point the cameras at the court, the field and the mat, put real graphics and real commentary behind it, and send it out free on YouTube. The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: it should look and sound like the game deserves.
And it should cover more than the scoreboard. Senior nights, Ballers & Scholars recognitions, postseason runs, the student section on a cold Friday — that is St. Ansgar too.

Saints TV sits at the intersection of the school, the fans, the families and the local businesses that pay for it — and it only works because all four show up.
The school
St. Ansgar coaches, athletic staff and students make it possible to be in the building and on the sideline.

Saints fans fill the gym, share the broadcasts and bring the energy that makes them worth watching.

The people behind the broadcast
Saints TV was started by Eric Sparrow — “The Candle Genius” — with a simple goal: give St. Ansgar athletes, families and fans a great way to follow the Saints. Eric continues to manage and coordinate Saints TV, but the program is truly a community effort. Broadcasts are made possible by a dedicated group of local volunteers who contribute their time and talents behind the cameras, on the microphones and throughout the production. It’s a team effort built around supporting St. Ansgar students and sharing Saints athletics with the community.
